About The Book Club
Hi, my name is C.C. Cowan and I'm the President of ATA Book Club. Allow me to welcome you to a world of creativity, fun and excitement. This book club has been formed in an effort to bring a vast number of friends and associates together from across the globe as well as to support African-American authors from around the world.
Each month we will post two new titles that I have selected for the group to read. I will also give a personal review on each book and open up a blog forum for members to post comments. ATA Book Club encourages its members to read the titles from our selection and to post comments to the corresponding blog page. All comments are welcome as long as they are honest and free from disrespect.
Please keep in mind that some of the titles that will appear on this page are from new authors so constructive comments and feed back, will go along way. Let's help and not hinder.
Our Goal
The ATA Book Club is committed to shining a light on new and emerging authors
from around the world, as well as noted African-American authors. We encourage reading as a means of education and entertainment.
It is our desire to spur a new generation of African-American authors and readers that will show themselves, strong, educated, creative, inspiring, and proud. ATA Book Club is proud to accept submissions from African-American authors from all genres. All submissions are subject to ATA Book Club approval. We reserve the right to decline promotion and review of offensive material to race and/or gender.
